Ricard Camarena and Kora Living join forces to develop a new hospitality concept at Kora Lluna, the largest flex-living complex in Valencia
The Valencian chef Ricard Camarena and Kora Living, a leading brand in conscious hospitality within the living sector, have signed a collaboration agreement under which Ricard Camarena’s team will develop and manage the hospitality and dining spaces within the Kora Lluna complex, located in the heart of Poblats Marítims.
“The project is born in a neighborhood with a strong personality like El Cabanyal,” said Ricard Camarena. “We want it to feel like a natural part of daily life — for our guests, for local residents, and for the entire city.”
The opening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. Kora Lluna is the largest flex-living complex in Valencia, with 428 studios and apartments and a Mediterranean design inspired by the concept of vivir a la fresca. The project is conceived to meet new ways of traveling and living: tourists, digital nomads, and relocating professionals seeking short- and medium-term stays in an environment where neighborhood life sets the pace.
For this reason, Kepa Apraiz, CEO of Kora Living, stated that “we were looking for a culinary proposal with its own identity.” “The partnership with Ricard Camarena aligns with our vision of conscious hospitality. Our hospitality space aims to become a meeting point between design, community, and Mediterranean gastronomy,” he added.
We revisit familiar formats, keeping their essence
The chef explained that “we like to rethink formats everyone is familiar with.” “The new proposal we are developing at Kora Lluna will offer a fresh way of understanding dining formats that have always been part of our lives. It will be something new for our group — different from the other spaces we currently manage,” he revealed.
With this partnership, Ricard Camarena and Kora Living strengthen their connection with El Cabanyal and contribute to the contemporary transformation of this historic neighborhood, keeping as a core principle the connection with the local territory, the community, and a more conscious way of living and enjoying the city.
This gastronomic proposal will be integrated into a complex with more than 3,000 m² of common areas: swimming pool, gym, coworking spaces, and the dining space itself. The entire project is designed to foster genuine encounters and a more flexible, modern, and conscious way of living.
True to the creative spirit of El Cabanyal, Kora Lluna has been conceived as a community-oriented space, integrating collaborations with local artists and initiatives. Additionally, it incorporates sustainable solutions that have earned it BREEAM certification in the “Very Good” category.
