Kora Living Opens Kora Lluna in Valencia, the City’s Largest Flex Living Complex with 428 Apartments
A Complex Designed for Everyday Living
The project has been conceived as a true ecosystem of spaces that expand the accommodation experience and respond to new ways of living in the city. Courtyards, a gym, restaurant, rooftop with pool and areas designed for working, exercising or relaxing create an environment that complements everyday life and connects naturally with the rhythm of the neighbourhood.
This vision takes shape through a network of shared spaces with their own identity, designed to respond to different daily needs while encouraging community living. Rooftop La Lluna, the Safrà and Allioli txokos, the Al Lío space, the sports area Play Gym, the playroom Al Sambori, the Embolic fòrum and the lounge A l’Ombra combine functionality and design while constantly referencing Mediterranean culture and tradition through their names and atmosphere.
“Flex living is not just a type of accommodation, but a response to the way people are living and moving through cities today. At Kora Lluna, we have designed spaces that support this transformation: places that combine autonomy, integrated services and community, turning each stay into an experience that feels more connected to its surroundings,” says Kepa Apraiz, CEO of Kora Living.
A Project Deeply Connected to Cabanyal-Canyamelar and Its “A la Fresca” Culture
Kora Lluna’s connection with Cabanyal-Canyamelar goes far beyond its location. Last week, the brand revealed the name of the complex’s new culinary concept: NO BAR, the restaurant led by Valencian chef Ricard Camarena, one of the most renowned figures in Spanish gastronomy. Conceived as a tribute to Mediterranean produce and the culture of sharing around the table, this new proposal further strengthens the building’s connection with the neighbourhood’s identity and local character.
The building also features murals created by local artists such as Gisela Talita, Martina Almela, Virginia Lorente and the Cachetejack studio, who reinterpret everyday scenes from the neighbourhood and symbols deeply linked to Valencian culture, including the concept of the “Valencian moon” and the tradition of “a la fresca” — spending evenings outdoors enjoying conversation and community.
The idea of “a la fresca” therefore acts as the guiding thread behind both the artistic narrative and the design of Kora Lluna: an invitation to experience time and space through closeness, conversation and shared moments.
In line with the philosophy of Kora Living, Kora Lluna was created with a clear commitment to integrating into the Cabanyal-Canyamelar neighbourhood, actively collaborating with local businesses, creators and cultural organisations. The aim is to build a genuine and long-lasting relationship between the building and the everyday life of the neighbourhood, becoming a natural part of its daily rhythm.
“Queremos que quien llegue a Kora Lluna sienta que no solo se aloja en Valencia, sino que forma parte del Cabanyal-Canyameral desde el primer día. Nuestro objetivo es ofrecer una experiencia auténtica, conectada con el barrio, su ritmo y su identidad, combinando la comodidad de un apartamento con una forma más cercana de vivir la ciudad”, señala José Ignacio Raposo, General Manager de Kora Lluna.
A Gift for Valencia: 100 Nights for 100 Valencians
To celebrate the opening, Kora Living is launching a giveaway of 100 nights for 100 residents officially registered in Valencia, an initiative designed to bring the project closer to the city and allow Valencians themselves to experience Kora Lluna firsthand.
The giveaway will take place through the official Instagram profile @kora_lluna (active from 25 February at 9:00 pm until 4 March) and will allow the winners to enjoy a complimentary stay during the first months following the opening.
Flex Living and Conscious Hospitality: A Different Way of Living the City
Kora Lluna reflects Kora Living’s flex living model: a flexible and conscious way of staying that blurs the line between travelling and living. A concept that combines the privacy of an apartment with access to a network of shared spaces and included services, encouraging a more human, natural and everyday connection with the city.
Far removed from traditional accommodation formats, Kora Lluna has been designed for stays that adapt over time, offering everything needed for daily life — coworking spaces, gym, social areas and integrated services. A concept created for both visitors and professionals on the move, as well as temporary residents looking for something beyond accommodation.
Throughout 2026, this approach will be complemented by a programme of experiences developed together with local cultural and creative collaborators. An initiative designed to strengthen the connection with the neighbourhood and extend the experience beyond the building itself.
This vision is also supported by a responsible design and construction strategy. Kora Lluna has achieved a BREEAM “Very Good” certification, integrating sustainability criteria from the earliest design phases to reduce environmental impact and optimise resource efficiency. Measures implemented include monitoring systems for water and electricity consumption, leak detection systems, 15 electric vehicle charging points — exceeding current regulatory requirements — and more than 200 bicycle parking spaces, encouraging more sustainable mobility.
“This opening is especially exciting for us because we are arriving in a city and neighbourhood with a very strong identity, where culture, everyday life and history coexist naturally,” says Kepa Apraiz, CEO of Kora Living. “Kora Lluna represents an important step in consolidating our conscious hospitality model in urban environments and reflects our commitment to integrated, sustainable projects that are fully connected to the local reality”
