FAQs

  • Specific requirements may vary depending on the role. At Kora Living, we generally look for talent with experience in the hospitality sector. We value passionate and driven individuals with dynamic personalities, who are open to change, strong team players, and eager to embrace new technologies and continuous improvement.

  • Kora Living is in full expansion! With 10 new openings planned by 2027, we regularly post job opportunities to support the growth of our teams — both at our upcoming properties and at our headquarters in Bilbao.

  • In the coming months, we’ll be looking for talent in cities such as Valencia, Pamplona, Tenerife, and Andorra, where new Kora Living properties are set to open. We’ll also continue to expand our team at our headquarters in Bilbao. If you’re based elsewhere but feel passionate about the Kora Living project, don’t hesitate to send us your CV — we’re always open to future opportunities in other locations!

  • When we open a job vacancy, we carefully review all applications and contact the candidates whose profiles best match the role. From there, the interview process begins and may vary slightly depending on the position.

Typically, the first step is an interview with our People team. At Kora Living, values like approachability, commitment, leadership, passion, and honesty are central — this stage is key to ensuring each person is the right cultural fit for our company. The second interview is usually held with the future team leads for the specific role. We always follow up with everyone who has taken part in the interview process to let them know whether or not they’ve been selected.

  • In all our recruitment processes, we aim to have at least one interview in person. After all, what better way to truly get to know someone? Screens are great — but there’s so much they can’t capture!

  • The role of the General Manager is essential to ensuring that each Kora Living property delivers a unique experience that reflects our brand values. Key responsibilities include:

    • Leading with vision, empathy, and passion. The GM is the heart and soul of the property — inspiring, guiding, and motivating the team with authenticity. Their strategic and operational decision-making makes a real difference.
    • Fostering a strong organisational culture, creating dynamic and welcoming environments where our company values are reflected in every interaction — both with the team and with guests.
    • Ensuring excellence in every detail of both product and service. Their aesthetic sensibility, cultural curiosity, and travel experience help elevate the property — turning each space and every moment into something memorable for our guests.
    • Overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations, ensuring all departments run smoothly and efficiently.
    • Managing high-performing teams: training, motivating, and supporting talent within each property to ensure every team member grows alongside the project.
    • Being an excellent communicator, with the ability to resolve conflicts, listen actively, and represent Kora Living both internally and externally — building lasting relationships with guests and the local community.
    • Identifying improvement opportunities and acting with strategic foresight to anticipate operational, market, and guest needs.
    • Delivering an exceptional guest experience by handling feedback, suggestions, and issues with empathy, agility, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
    • Collaborating with key departments (Revenue, Product, Marketing, Finance) to ensure commercial, operational, and quality targets are met.

  • The Front Desk Manager plays a key role in the success of every Kora Living property. Their main responsibilities include:

    • Leading, training, and motivating the front desk team to deliver outstanding service and personalised attention to our guests. Our goal is to support them in everything they need to make their stay at Kora Living truly unforgettable.
    • Being a role model, innovating and surprising, always adding value to the guest experience.
    • Planning, organising, and managing the day-to-day work of the reception team.
    • Collaborating with the Revenue Management team to optimise room allocation, occupancy, pricing strategy, and availability.
    • Handling phone calls and greeting visitors, ensuring a warm and professional first impression.
    • Managing and overseeing billing, payments, cash handling, and supporting administrative and accounting tasks.
    • Driving guest activities and events within the property to enhance the overall experience.
    • Coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest journey from start to finish.
  • The Housekeeping department is essential to the smooth running of our properties and to delivering a 10/10 guest experience.

Team members in this area are expected to promote the same brand values shared across all departments. At Kora Living, we approach guests, colleagues, and partners with warmth and authenticity. We are passionate about hospitality, and we work each day with honesty, commitment, and a sense of leadership grounded in service — helping each other grow and improve.

It’s no coincidence that Kora Living consistently achieves a cleanliness rating of 95.4%! When things are done with passion and dedication, the results speak for themselves.

  • Absolutely! You can send us your CV using the application form — just select “Not sure yet” under the “Location” dropdown. We’ll save your details and get in touch if a role comes up in the area you’ve listed in your CV.

If you’d like to be considered for a specific location, but there’s no open position in your field at the moment, select your preferred location in the form and choose “Not sure yet” in the “Position” dropdown.

Kora Living will be opening new properties in Tenerife, Pamplona and Valencia in 2025, with more to follow soon in locations such as Andorra, Alicante and Seville… Maybe now isn’t the right time — but if you truly want to be part of Kora Living, we’re confident our paths will cross in the future.
