This Brand Book is the essence of our philosophy; it reflects our principles and intentions; it is the starting point we have set ourselves to change how people lodge and choose accommodation. OUR BIG BANG.
Have we met? We are an accommodation brand born to make people happy with our work: to design spaces to feel at home and to create environments with people who leave their mark and from whom to learn new things.
Comfort and design are essential, but it is an incomplete experience without personal attention and hospitality. We are a young and close-knit team, something you will notice in how we work.
OUR MISSION: WHAT I REALLY REALLY WANT
A new model of accommodation that blurs the line between travelling and living, forming part of a place instead of visiting it. Wouldn’t that be perfect?
That’s our mission, and the best way to achieve it is to go off the beaten path: to create accommodations adaptable to different lifestyles for just a day or an entire year with communal areas at the heart of each Kora.

We strive to be a leader in the accommodation sector, and set the standards for sustainability, conscious living and being aware that the way we do things impacts places and people. Achieving it in this conscious way requires effort, which sets us apart: we are willing to make it happen.

We are made up of many parts, and each person who works at Kora Living brings a few more to the table. From this multitude of personalities, dreams, passions and ideas, we can highlight five that encompass our brand values.
CLOSENESS.
Distance measures how far we travel, but closeness is our focus once we arrive. Closeness at all levels. How we treat our guests, suppliers, and colleagues reflects how we behave in life, with honesty, simplicity and kindness. The closer we are, the larger our world becomes.
COMMUNITY.
We believe that sharing is enriching, that meeting new people makes us better, and that the concept of community helps us to give meaning to life.
Therefore, we project each Kora Living beyond ‘I’ to create ‘We’ and generate a sense of community and belonging with our clients, suppliers or collaborators.
PASSION.
Is there any other way to lead one’s life than with passion? Well, yes, but that’s not the Kora Living way. We give our all and empty ourselves into every project so we have space to refill ourselves with new experiences.
This passion is embodied in every detail. It’s in our project designs — from the façade of a building to your morning coffee mug. It’s in how we welcome and treat our guests and how we work internally. Two passionate people do not make two passions; they create a revolution — imagine what we can create with people like you.
DESIGN.
We love beauty and know that design and functionality cannot live without each other.
This love of design is embodied in the care we take over every detail of our projects, and with it, we have created the largest PassivHaus-certified hotel in Europe.
HONESTY.
We do not seek to be perfect; we want to be honest because that is the only way to achieve what we want: to create alternative and integrated accommodations where you can live unique experiences.
BRAND ESSENCE: BE WATER, MY FRIEND.
The inability to be flexible in today’s world is debilitating. Our world is changing, mobile, and uncertain, and brands that want to achieve their goals need to be agile.

We don’t believe we can change the world, but we can make it better. Only by being conscious of our surroundings can we make decisions that help our clients to choose better accommodations. This consciousness of who we are and what we do guides us in designing and constructing our buildings to integrate with their surroundings naturally and in designing spaces to create community. Because we know we are part of something bigger.
BRAND POSITIONING: LIVING LA VIDA LOCAL (Living the local life)
At Kora, we believe that immersing yourself in the destination and living locally enhances the experience. We make sure that each Kora has everything you need to experience the destination intensely by offering a welcoming space to all who visit us, with the necessary privacy, and at the same time, experiences and common places to connect or disconnect: coworking, swimming pools, gyms, gastronomic spaces. In a hotel, you simply stay; in a Kora, you live — like a local.
